One copy is being provided to each <br />agency cooperating in the NEP A analysis for the project. This notebook supplements <br />the March 1993 Gunnison River Contract Scoping Report. Chapter 4 of the report <br />summarizes (but does not analyze) comments received from the public according to 22 <br />issues and concerns by which they were grouped (see Items List). Some of the <br />comments were recorded at 5 public meetings held May 19-21, 1992; others were <br />submitted in letters received during the scoping period. <br /> <br />The comments are presented in two sections. In Section I, they are listed by source. <br />First the comments recorded on flip charts at the scoping meetings are listed. Second, <br />the text from each letter or comment sheet is duplicated, by paragraph. <br />Section 2 lists the comments following sorting by "Item Code." It was from this listing <br />that the issues discussed in Chapter 4 of the Scoping Report was developed. <br />
