- SOILS DESCRIPTION -

Ceb Cedaridge loam, 0 to 3% slopes. This soil occurs

on stream terraces and is quite variable in depth.

Most of the area is 40 inches or more to sand and

gravel but small areas, 20 to 40 inches in depth are

comnon. The soil is 1I0nealeareous and nuetral through-

out. It is dark friable loam down to the sand and

gravel. Water intake is moderate. Water holding

capacity is about 2 inches per foot of soil depth.

Water tables eommonly occur below 10 foot depths.
