Information summarizing the occurrence and
habitat requirements of the great blue heron was
added to Section 3.4; potential impacts of
altered flows on great blue heron are also
described in new sections in Section 4.1.3.

A Biological Opinion was issued by the FWS on
June 15, 1987. which provides for protecting and
enhancin9 Upper Colorado River endangered
fishes. Reclamation is committed to the
stipulations therein (see Chapter VI).
