Considerable state <br /> <br />and federal azsistance will be required to keep pace with the population <br /> <br /> <br />and industrial expansion of the area, <br /> <br /> <br />It appears that approximately $300,000 in federal grants can be <br /> <br /> <br />~ccured if the state of Colorado will participate in the project con- <br /> <br /> <br />3tru~tion to the extent of the remaining required amount of $:}OO;OOO. <br /> <br />If funds are made available to the Colorado Water Conservation Board <br /> <br />Construction Fund in that amount, water use charges would be levied by <br />the state at the rate of $20;l66'per year for 20 years, for a total <br />repay<ncnt of $403,320. <br /> <br />It is recommended that the Hayden project be submitted to the lS77 <br />General Assembly as priority number three, <br /> <br />FLS:= <br /> <br />0308 <br /> <br />-3- <br />
