Exclusive of Chino Basin, the production <br />of the remaining constituents dropped 5.35 cubic feet per second to <br />1.014.05 ds. in 1951-52. The production of the 13 original cities <br />showed a slight expansion, 3..18 ds., above the previous year, rais- <br />ing the total to 751.0:3 cfs., an increase of 54.3 per cent over the <br />production rate of 486.66 dB. in 1941-42. <br />Individual increases for the period since 1941-42 range from a <br />high of 353 per cent for Torrance to a low of 11 per cellt for Beverly <br />Hilb. Other large increases were Anaheim 78 per cent, Burbank 91, <br />Compton 83, Fullerton 74, Long Beach 75, Santa Ana 83, and Coastal <br />Municipal Water District 188 per cent. <br />Table 13 shows for each constituent area the quantity of water <br />produced locally, the quantity of Colorado River water delivered, <br />and the percentages of the total for each during the 1951-52 fiscal <br />,'ear. The use of Colorado River water, averaging 199.21 cubic feet <br />per second for the year, was 18 per cent of the total production of <br />1,109.11 cfs. for all areas. Exclusive of the Chino Basin and Pomona <br />Valley districts, and the San Diego County Water Authority, the <br />Metl'opolitan Water District supplied 14.0 per cent of the total water <br />production as compared to 10.9 for the preceding year, and 13.3 <br />for 1949-50. <br />In proportion to total production Santa Monica continues to lead <br />the list of Colorado RiVer water users, taking 95 per cent of its total <br />requirements from the District, followed by Santa Ana with 89. <br />Anaheim 84, San Diego County Water Authority 62, Fullerton and <br />Torrance tie with 58, and Pasadena 51 per cent.
