Is this "Project area" referred to the Dolores Project or the subject road
upgrading project? The Dolores Project area does not cover all of the area
for the proposed road upgrading.

Response:

The project area is the area encompassed by the road upgrading. For the
purpose of Section 7 Compliance the Dolores Project area also encompasses
the area of the road upgrading.

13. Comment:

See Pages 6 and 7, F. Cultural Resources.
The first paragraph is not pertinent to the proposed road upgrading pro-
ject as the subject roads are outside of the Anasazi Archeological
District.

Response:

The paragraph is useful as background information of the areas and
Reclamation's cultural resource program therefore the paragraph will
remain in the document.

14. Comment:

See Pages 7 and 8, Mineral Resources.
As commented on previously, the Ormiston Point gravel site will re-
quire a separate environmental assessment and further investigation test-
ing and mapping prior to allocation for gravel development. An operating
plan for the site will determine development area and rehabilitation work.
