<br />,- "J <br /> <br />APPENDIX 1 <br /> <br />~ <br />~ <br /> <br />CHARGES TO COMMITTEES <br /> <br /><,.,; <br /> <br />~ COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING STANDING COMMITTEE <br /> <br />Overall Functional Charge <br /> <br />This committee will participate on behalf of AWRBLAC in regional planning <br />and national assessment studies. It will monitor acti~ities of LAC's, <br />WRC's, RBC's, and state and federsl legislation, reporting on significant <br />items as needed, and will function as the policy review element of AWRBIAC. <br /> <br />EXCHANGE OF PROGRAM INFORHATION STANDING COMMITTEE <br /> <br />Overall Functional Charge <br /> <br />1. Consider and make recommendations to AWRBIAC on methods of operation <br />to improve the exchange of program information in the interest of <br />coordination of anticipated atudies, atudies in progress, planning <br />programs, project conatruction agencies, and such other related <br />matters of exhange of program information as may be brought to the <br />attention of the committee by AWRBIAC Or its members. <br /> <br />2. Remain sufficiently familiar with the activities of the state and <br />federal agencies to identify problems and potential problems involving <br />exchange of information and recommend solutions thereto. <br /> <br />3. Prepare reports, as needed, to reflect progress and status of planning, <br />construction, operation, and other program activities relating to project <br />development of state and federal construction. <br /> <br />Charge FY 1983 <br /> <br />1. Continue to prepare and distribute the EPIC Report every two (2) years. <br /> <br />2. Coordinate on a rotational basis for each member to report in more <br />detail on their projects or programs. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCES STANDING COMMITTEE <br /> <br />Overall Functional Charge <br /> <br />Provide advice, recommendations, and support to the AWRBIAC on envlronmental <br />issues related to planning, development, and management of water resources <br />within the AWR region. Implicit in this charge is the compilation, collection, <br />and efficient use of information for preservation, conservation, and/or <br />enhancement of environmental resources of the region. <br /> <br />12 <br />
