<br />
<br />With reasonable maximum runoff, releases from Boysen Reservoir will
<br />be increased to near powerplant capability from March through July.
<br />The reservoir will fill during July with about 10,000 acre-feet
<br />bypassing the powerplant. Above normal carryover storage will exist
<br />in Boysen Reservoir at the end of the year.
<br />
<br />Buffalo Bill
<br />
<br />During February and March, releases will be scheduled so as to
<br />achieve a minimum stora~e of about 179,000 acre-feet by the end of
<br />March. The reservoir will fill to maximum storage of about 424,000
<br />acre-feet by the end of June. During June and July, releases will
<br />be made as required to maintain this maximum storage. Nearly 464,000
<br />acre-feet will bypass the powerplant during the season. Releases
<br />for downstream irrigation demands during September will result in an
<br />above normal carryover storage at the end of the water year.

<br />Power Production
<br />
<br />With reasonable maximum water supplies, the Hestern Division "System'
<br />will generate 1,594 gigawatt-hours of energy. This will be about
<br />43 gigawatt-hours mOTe energy than produced with most probable water
<br />supply. Import requirements from the Pick-Sloan Missouri Basin Program,
<br />Eastern Division System, will total about 528 gigawatt-hours for the
<br />water year. Imports will not be necessary during September.
