<br />OOI)5~i7 <br /> <br />The Regional Building Department hereby requests proposals on <br />behalf of the Flood Warning Task Force, El Paso County, and the <br />municipalities of Colorado Springs, Fountain, Manitou Springs, <br />Palmer Lake, and Green Mountain Falls. Five copies of the <br />proposals should be submitted to the office of the Floodplain <br />Administrator at 101 West eostilla, Colorado Springs, eolorado, <br />80903, no later than 4:30 p.m., Friday, February 13, 1987. <br /> <br />.--, <br /> <br />Proposals will be reviewed by the Task Force with respect to the <br />following information: Previous experience on similar projects; <br />schedule of completion; quariticat::lons oEs-taff assigned to the <br />project; and understandinq of the project, the concept, and the <br />,cost. The three highest rated firms after the proposals have been <br />reviewed will be invited to an interview before the Task Force <br />members. Contract negotiations will be conducted with the firm <br />rated highest by the Task Force during the interviews. If a <br />contract agreement cannot be reached with this firm, negotiations <br />will be conducted with the second highest rated firm. It is the <br />intention of the Task Force to have the system operational by the <br />.beginning of the flood season in 1987, generally considered to be <br />'.June 1. - /V1."'d' 1-) <br /> <br />The Regional Building Department will act as the contract manager <br />for this project.
