<br />, <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />001588 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Bureau of Outdoor Recreation to discuss that Bureau's report <br />findings and recommendations. The Bureau of Outdoor Recreation <br />agreed to re-analyze their recreation benefits on Buzzard Creek <br />Reservoir. A draft of the proposed feasibility report has been com- <br />pleted and is under review. The proposed feasibility report is <br />scheduled to be completed in February 1967. <br /> <br />Plan formulation studies, water supply studies, and agri- <br />cultural economic studies are continuing on the Bluestone project. <br />Foundation explorations are in progress at the Parachute Damsite, <br />an offstream site located near the confluence of Parachute Creek <br />and the Colorado River. <br /> <br />On the Grand Mesa project plan formulation studies and <br />water studies are in progress. preparation of the project lands and <br />drainage appendices are under way. The contractor for the aerial <br />topographic maps for the Electric Mountain Service Canal has sub- <br />mitted all the data called for under the contract. A proposed <br />feasibility report is scheduled for completion in FY 1968. <br /> <br />Plan formulation studies and water supply studies are <br />continuing on the Upper Gunnison project. Land classification and <br />drainage field work have been completed. Analysis of land class- <br />ification soil samples has been completed and office tabulations are <br />in progress. A proposed feasibility report is scheduled for comple- <br />tion in FY 1970. <br /> <br />Yellow Jacket project feasibility designs and estimates <br />are being prepared for sections of the Josephine Basin Canal and <br />Yellow Jacket Canal, Milk Creek Canal, Lost Park collection system, <br />and project laterals. Assembly of design data for other project <br />features is in progress. The project lands appendix is completed <br />and the drainage appendix is essentially completed. Preparation of <br />the plan formulation, water supply, and agricultural economy appen- <br />dices is continuing. The proposed feasibility report is scheduled <br />for completion at the end of this fiscal year. <br /> <br />Preparations are being made to initiate land classifica- <br />tion and drainage investigations on the Basalt project area in the <br />spring. This work will be accomplished with funds contributed by <br />the Basalt Water Conservancy District. <br /> <br />Early in December, Bureau of Reclamation personnel met <br />with representatives of the Bureau of Land Management to discuss the <br />cadastral survey prOblems in the savery-Pot Hook project area.
