If license is granted, appropriate affidavits will <br />be filed in Montrose County, Colorado. <br /> <br />(7 ) <br /> <br />The project is located at an existing drop in the South <br />Canal. Power would be generated by temporarily diverting <br />flow around the existing canal drop and through a turbine in <br />a new powerhouse. The tailrace channel from the powerhouse <br />would return the flow to the South Canal downstream of the <br />existing drop. The facility would be operated in a run-of- <br />river mode with no storage or water level fluctuations. <br /> <br />(i) Proposed installed rated generating capacity 1100 KW. <br /> <br />(ii) The project is located at an existing dam (canal drop). <br /> <br />-5- <br /> <br />\ <br />
