The Council shall be kno~/n as tile Colorado River Basin <br />Salinity Control Advisory Council. <br /> <br />2. foe Council will advise the Secretaries of the Departments of <br />the Interior and Agriculture and the Administrator of the Environmental <br />Protection Agency on all matters relating to efficient and timely <br />planning and execution of salinity control measures and procedures <br />specified in Public Law 93-320, Title II. . <br /> <br />3. The Council shall remain active through the planning and <br />construction of Title II featul'es which are projected to 1990. <br /> <br />4. The Council shall report to the Secretaries of the Departments of <br />the Interior and Agriculture and the Administrator of the Environmental <br />Protection Agency through the Commissioner of the Bureau of Reclama- <br />tion. <br /> <br />5. Ti18 ilureau of Reclamation shall coordinate the support <br />activities for the Council. <br /> <br />6. The Commissioner of the Bureau of ReclamatIon or his represen- <br />tative shall act as the designated Federal employee for the Council. <br /> <br />1. <br />shall: <br /> <br />Toe Council Shall serve in an advisory capacity only and <br /> <br />a. Receive reports from the Secretary of the Interior on the <br />progress of the salinity control program and review and <br />comment on saId reports. <br /> <br />b. Provide advice through review and comment on progress, <br />plans, research, and related salinity control activities <br />conducted under Title II of Public Law 93-320. <br /> <br />c. Serve a liaison function between the Basin States and the <br />Departments of the Interior and Agriculture and the Environ- <br />mental Protection Agency. <br /> <br />d. Recominend to the Secretary of the Interior, the Secretary <br />of Agriculture, and the Administrator of the Environmental <br />Protection Agency the stUdy of new projects, techniques, and <br />methods that may facilitate salinity control in the basin. <br /> <br />";". <br />
