EPA should also insure that Colol'ado River <br /> <br />salinity problems are recognized in all appropriate water <br /> <br />quality doculUElnts (such as t'le National.Jater" Qua.l.ity <br /> <br />Inventory Report to Congress and &ational won-Point Source <br /> <br />Assessments) preparEld by the Agency. <br />Implementation of Interior and Agriculture salinity <br /> <br />control pl"ojects is essential to maintain the numeric <br /> <br />salinity criteria adopted by the Seven dasin states and <br /> <br />approved by EPAo <br /> <br />li:PA should support funding for these <br /> <br />salinity control programs and should participate in Interior <br /> <br />and USDA salinity control activities. <br /> <br />In the past, Hegion VIII, EPA has assumed the :Lead role <br /> <br />-15- <br /> <br />..' <br /> <br />_m__ 1_. <br />
