Pipe wiII be manufactured under a subcontract by United Concrete Pipe Corporation at Baldwin Park. , Construction of Victuria Street lateral Bids were opened on June 1, 1949, for the construction of the 2.79-mile Victoria Street lateral, and the contract for this work was awarded to the low bidder, United Concrete Pipe Corporation, on June 10, 1949 for a contract price of $555,302.10. The work comprises 14,742 linear feet of 54-inch diameter precast concrete pipe line construction beginning at a point on the Palos Verdes feeder midway between 184th and 189th Streets and extending easterly in private right of way and in Victoria Street to Wilming- ton Avenue.
