Two of the valve assemblies were <br />installed in the initial development. To provide for the increasing <br />water demand, specifications were issued for three additional valve <br />assemblies. <br />Pursuant to an agreement with the City of Compton providing <br />for the sale to the city of the easterly 6,791 feet of the Compton <br />lateral in Rosecrans Ave" plans were prepared for moving the <br />venturi meter and structure to a point 200 feet east of Avalon <br />Boulevard, near the tUl'llout from the Palos Verdes feeder, The <br />work was done by District forces. <br />Designs were prepared for improved pumping facilities at Lake <br />Mathews for the domestic water system; also for motorizing the <br />radial gate at the Puddingstone spillway on the upper feeder near <br />San Dimas, <br /> <br />lValel' supp11l and (l,-J/llcJ'a-t-ioll.~ <br /> <br />Water production data of the constituent cities and municipali- <br />ties of the District appear in tables 12 and 13.
