The potential for ground-water recharge was discussed with employees
of the Geological Survey and technical data from that agency was used
in the analysis of the ground-water recharge alternative. The Geological
Survey has also been conducting studies of the seepage potential from
Narrows Reservoir, and its effects on the adjacent ground-water aquifer.

Valuable data on crane use and crane habitat in Nebraska was obtained
through the cooperation of FisH and Wildlife Service personnel in Grand
Island, Nebraska. A report on the reevaluation of flood control
benefits for the Narrows Unit was prepared by the Corps of Engineers.

This report will be transmitted to the agencies which cooperated in
the investigations and to the other agencies which have previously
cooperated in the investigations of the Narrows Unit, such as the
Environmental Protection Agency, National Park Service, and State
agencies involved with recreation, wildlife, and public health.

,

8
