Because of this, we were asked to confine <br />our review to that of the dams themselves. The comparative costs <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />for right-of-way, road and railroad relocation and other necessary <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />work are being prepared by others. <br /> <br /> <br />We have assumed that the dam embankment elevations given by <br /> <br /> <br />the U,S,B.R, are proper to accomplish the purpose desired, These <br /> <br /> <br />are controlled by the overall project planning which is beyond the <br /> <br />_J <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />scope of our work, <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />Design of Dam- at Lower Weld County Site <br /> <br /> <br />Drawing No. 553-B-l9 reflecting U.S.B.R. criteria for the <br /> <br /> <br />design of the dam shows a complete cutoff to bedrock throughout <br /> <br /> <br />the entire length of the dam, including a slurry trench cutoff in <br /> <br /> <br />the deep "buried channel".
