I
I

.

.

Table 2 also contains the average monthly evaporation losses

I

developed in Table 1 to be supplied by E.M.D.

When compared to

the estimated consumptive use for the five shares of Pioneer

I

Union Dit~h, it is seen that the consumptive use attributed to

five shares is greater than the estimated evaporation loss.

I

Table 2 shows that there is a net excess of consumptive use

I

attributed to the five shares of Pioneer Union Ditch over the

lake evaporation of 18.3 acre-feet.

It is proposed that this

I

18.3 acre-feet be stored annually in the 130 acre-feet of storage \~(~
'!p ~ 1. ~
~?

As an average, the excess 18.3 acre-feet of consumptive use

space requested by E.M.D.

I

I

of the five shares would fill the storage allocation of 130

acre-

feet in approximately seven years.

The E.M.O. plans to use

the

I

water stored in Bear Creek Reservoir to make up senior calls by

the McBroom Ditch located about 1.5 miles upstream of the mouth

I

of Bear Creek.

These calls are expected to occur no more fre-

I

quently than about once every nine years.

The E.M.D. plans to

release from the reservoir for the duration of the calls.

It is

I

estimated that the magnitude of the required release will range

between 0.1 c.f.s. and 5.0 c.f.s.

I

I

I
I

I
I

-5-
