<br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Plan to Make-Up Evaporation Losses. <br /> <br />The Evergreen Metropolitan <br /> <br />District owns five shares of Pioneer Union Ditch water. <br /> <br />Water <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />available to these water rights could be used to make-up the loss <br /> <br />of 42.9 acre-feet per year attributed to Evergreen's share of the <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />storage. <br /> <br />These water rights were historically used on the Robert <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Desserich farm to irrigate 40 acres in Section 27, Range 69 West, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Township 4 South, as shown on Figure 1. <br /> <br />The shares were used to <br /> <br />irrigate corn, alfalfa, and pasture grass. <br /> <br />Records of diversions <br /> <br />and information obtained from Mr. Desserich were used to compute <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />the consumptive use of irrigation water using the 1949 through <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1967 period. <br /> <br />The calculated average historic consumptive use by <br /> <br />the five shares of pioneer Union Ditch is shown on Table 2. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Table 2 <br /> <br />Credits of Consumptive Use and Make-Up of Evaporation Losses <br />Bear Creek Reservoir <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Wtr. <br />Ditch <br /> <br />Evap.
