Needs for research and data collection--recommend programs that <br />should be modified or broadened to meet the future needs. <br /> <br />Needs for changes in the current institutional, financial. <br />legal. and socio-economic water and related arrangements. <br />policies and programs that should be implemented in each time <br />frame (1975-1985 and 1985-2000) to provide an improved base for <br />resolving the problems within the Missouri Region. <br />Role of federal. state, local and private entities--identify <br />and recommend the roles and highlight deviations from the current <br />posture for effective and efficient resolution of the priority <br />problems within the region through implementation, planning, <br />research and data collection. <br />The elements of this subactivity will be evolved by the MRBC staff. <br />Once evolved the Group A participants will be requested to review and perhaps <br />supplement the data and information which will be submitted to the <br />Overview Committee and MRBC for endorsement. <br />Subactivity 18 - Establish Priorities <br />The Overview Committee will establish priorities for Level B studies <br />for each time frame (1975-1985 and 1985-2000). The Overview Committee <br />will then submit its recommended priority listing to the Missouri River <br />Basin Commission for endorsement. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Subactivity 19 - Prepare the State/Reqional Report <br />During this subactivity, the MRBC staff will prepare a draft of the <br />state/regional report. The Overview Committee will review and provide <br />comments thereon prior to conducting a regionwide review by the Group B <br />participants. <br />An outline of the specific problem analysis report ('the state/regional <br />report) is provided by Appendix B. <br /> <br />-10- <br /> <br />147j <br />
