The cost of the study and the evaporation loss on the <br /> <br /> <br />permanent pool would be shared by Englewood. <br /> <br /> <br />Subject to these conditions, Englewood's request for 600 <br /> <br /> <br />acre-feet of storage space was evaluated in the three alternative <br /> <br /> <br />reservoir storage scenarios which included request for allocation <br /> <br /> <br />in the flood control pool. <br /> <br /> <br />At the February 10, 1989, meeting, the State of Colorado <br /> <br /> <br />became the eighth storage participant when they requested a <br /> <br /> <br />storage account and suggested that allowing such an account might <br /> <br /> <br />help reduce or mitigate some impacts of conservation storage by <br /> <br /> <br />others. To accommodate the State's request and evaluate the <br /> <br />impact the reo f , Scenario 0 was added. ScenariC' 0 allows the <br />State a 2,000 acre-foot storage account. The addition of this <br />account to the study was handled so that: (1) i !. would not ad- <br />versely impact any participant's ability to store in the perma- <br />nent pool, and (2 ) it would not prevent the Corps of Engineers <br /> <br />from approving storage by any participant in Bear Creek Reser- <br /> <br /> <br />voir. The addition of the State of Colorado brings the total <br /> <br /> <br />requests for storage to 4,625 acre-feet. <br /> <br /> <br />To address concerns with respect to the impact of fluctuat- <br /> <br /> <br />ing reservoir levels on present and future recreational facili- <br /> <br /> <br />ties and uses within the reservoir area, all eight parties have <br /> <br /> <br />agreed to the operations criteria by Which it ca~ be determined <br /> <br />1-) <br />
