C. Increasing the amount of storage in the flood control pool

by 600 acre-feet would not prevent the Corps of Engineers'

approval of the others' requests.

D. The cost of the study and the evaporation loss on the

permanent pool would be shared by Englewood.

Subject to these conditions, Englewood's request for 600

acre-feet of storage space was evaluated in the three alternative

reservoir storage scenarios which included request for allocation

in the flood control pool.

At the February 10, 1989, meeting, the State of Colorado

became the eighth storage participant when they requested a

storage account and suggested that allowing such an account might

help reduce or mitigate some impacts of conservation storage by

others. To accommodate the State's request and evaluate the

impact the reo f , Scenario 0 was added. ScenariC' 0 allows the
State a 2,000 acre-foot storage account. The addition of this
account to the study was handled so that: (1) i !. would not ad-
versely impact any participant's ability to store in the perma-
nent pool, and (2 ) it would not prevent the Corps of Engineers

from approving storage by any participant in Bear Creek Reser-

voir. The addition of the State of Colorado brings the total

requests for storage to 4,625 acre-feet.

To address concerns with respect to the impact of fluctuat-

ing reservoir levels on present and future recreational facili-

ties and uses within the reservoir area, all eight parties have

agreed to the operations criteria by Which it ca~ be determined
