The state provides replacement water for the remaining 50

percent of the evaporation losses therefrom.

The permanent pool evaporation loss make-up requirements

are based on (a) 405 acre-feet allocation and (b) the

current allocation requests of 2,625 acre-feet as follows:

B. storage Account Evaporative Loss Replacement:

In addition to replacing evaporative losses from the perma-

nent pool, each entity will be assessed a share of evapora-

tive losses from the flood control pool based on the amount

of water in storage at the beginning of the month in that

entity's reservoir storage account in the flood control

pool. Replacement of evaporative losses from an entity's

flood control pool storage account will be the sole and

direct responsibility of that entity.

C. Prorating Total Evaporation:

The monthly total evaporation will be distributed between

the permanent pool and the flood plain pool by a ratio of

their respective occupied volume to the total occupied
