Reach 1 includes inflow from Salt Creek <br />and flow contributions from 50 square miles of ungaged areas. <br />Average annual flow from these areas was estimated to be 40 <br />acre-feet per square mile. The virgin flow of Salt Creek was <br />estimated to be an average of 1,040 acre-feet per year, based on <br />a 26 square mile drainage area and 40 acre-feet of runoff per square <br />mile, subject to annual variations estimated on the basis of Ignacio <br />precipitation records. Return flows from the Florida Mesa enter <br />Reach 1. <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />B. Reach 2 - From the Florida River below the Florida Farmers Ditch <br />gage to a point just upstream of the mouth of Salt Creek. Reach <br />2 includes flow contributions from 35 square miles of ungaged areas. <br />Average annual flow from these areas is estimated to be about 65 <br />acre-feet per square mile.
