The United States <br />Geological Survey has continued the operation 01 the compact <br />gaging stations and the analysis and compilation of the <br />hydrologic data presented in this report and used in the ad- <br />ministration of the Compact. <br />(e) The Corps of Engineers continued to operate the conservation <br />pool of John Martin Reservoir in accordance with the terms of <br />the Compact and the orders of the Administration. A new area <br />capacity table for John Martin Reservoir was issued by the <br />Army Corps 01 Engineers and put into elfect August 12, 1981. <br /> <br />r <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />8. Water Supply, Reservoir Operation, and Hydrologic Data: <br />The 1982 Arkansas River Compact year and the winter storage <br />season for John Martin Reservoir began at 0001 hours November I, <br />1981 with 13,712.89 acre-Ieet in account storage and an empty con- <br />servation pool. <br />The account storage was distributed as follows: <br />(a) Agreement Accounts = 8152.25 A.F. <br />(bl Recreation Pool = 5560.64 A.F. <br />Winter Storage ended at 1428 hours on April 17. 1982. During this <br />period a total of 44,426.8 A.F. was stored in the following accounts: <br />Compact Water 26.813.80 A... <br />Amity Winter Water 17.613.00 A... <br />Following the transfer of the stored inflows to' John Martin <br />Reservoir into the agreement accounts in accordance with the <br />Operating Plan, adopted April 24, 1980, the allocation 01 the reservoir <br />contents at 2400 hours April 17, 1982 were as (ollows: <br />Agreement A~coWlts. 44.952.16 A.F... <br />Compact Water 0 A.F. <br />Amity Winter Water 0 A.F. <br />Permanent Pool 4,924.84 A... <br /> <br />1'-" <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />49,877.00 A.F. <br />Summer storage period began at 1428 hours April Ii: 1982. At that <br />time the Conservation Pool was empty. During the summer season <br />inflow to the Conservation Pool totalled 62,250.23 A.F. This total, minus <br />evaporation losses, was all released into accoWlts in accordance with <br />the Operating Plan, adopted April 24, 1980. The Conservation Pool was <br />empty at 2400 hours, October 31, 1982.
