<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~... <br />:,':) <br /> <br />Entities in Utah and Wyoming have expressed an interest <br />in the States taking a role on behalf of smaller coal producers. <br />The Wyoming Governor's office has requested a letter detailing <br />the project, related technologies, proposed routes, and <br />a definition of what role the State might take in the project. <br /> <br />The Crow Indians have a supply of coal which is not now <br />being marketed. At the request of the tribe's legal representatives, <br />efforts will be made to meet with the Crow to learn of their <br />possible interest in AQUA TRAIN. <br /> <br />-<ort <br />...-4 <br />(oo- ': <br />c:, <br /> <br />3.2 ANTICIPATED MARCH EVENTS <br /> <br />McKeever will present a speech to the Interpipe '84 Conference <br />in Houston on March 1. <br /> <br />4.0 SUBTEAM: FINANCIAL/ECONOMIC (McKeever) <br />4.1 FEBRUARY EVENTS <br /> <br />Aquatrain, Inc. representatives met with two prospective <br />participants on possible joint venture partnerships. <br /> <br />Hal Aronson, a private consultant and associate of David <br />Williams, is cooperating in AQUATRAIN to help recruit additional <br />private industry partners. <br /> <br />McKeever and Clinton met on February 8 with representatives <br />of Rio Grande Industries. Corridor alternatives now being <br />suggested by Aquatrain, Inc., were discussed, and Rio Grande <br />wishes to be kept informed of progress. <br /> <br />Don Miller of the San Francisco office of Woodward Clyde <br />and Bob McCullough of the Denver office attended the February 10 <br />staff meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Charles Markell, an attorney representing David Williams <br />in Washington, DC, was given a briefing on AQUATRAIN on <br />February 10 in Denver. <br /> <br />Coastal State Energy received a project briefing on February 24. <br /> <br />4.2 ANTICIPATED MARCH EVENTS <br /> <br />David Williams will contact chief executive officers of <br />some major corporations regarding their interest in joint <br />venture partnerships with AQUATRAIN. <br /> <br />2 <br />
