<br />Management Situation by Revision Topic <br /> <br />Rockloving aletes -- Neoparrva lithophila <br />This plant is known to occur in rocky volcanic outcrops below about 8,700 feet. There are <br />documented records on the RGNF from the Elephant Rocks area. It is known from Chaffee, <br />Conejos, Huerfano, Rio Grande, and Saguache Counties in Colorado. <br /> <br />Altai cottongrass .. Eriophorum altaicum var. neoaaeum <br />This plant is found in wet areas and is typically associated with Juncus sp. and Carex sp. The plant is <br />known from Gunnison and San Juan Counties in Colorado. The documented record on the RGNF is <br />from the Kite lake area. <br /> <br />Pale moonwort -- Botrvchium pallidum <br />This inconspicuous plant is found in the subalpine zone and is generally found on sparsely <br />vegetated, gravelly to rocky surface soils. The plant is known from Boulder and Teller Counties in <br />Colorado. There are no documented records on the RGNF, but it is suspected to occur with other <br />Botrvchium sp. on the RGNF. <br /> <br />Thrt'Jatt'ln&:!, Endan~~r&:! and St'Jnsitivt'J Animals <br /> <br />The following is a list of the threatened, endangered, or sensitive animal species suspected of <br />occurring on the Rio Grande National Forest.
