An <br />endemic plant of the lower San luis Valley and northern New Mexico, it is known only from <br />Conejos County in Colorado. The documented records on the RGNF are near the Conejos River and <br />near Terrace Reservoir. <br /> <br />Smith whitlow-grass -- Draba smithii <br />This plant is found in rock crevices and talus slopes in the southern mountains -- from the upper Rio <br />Grande Valley to the Mesa de Maya. There are documented records on the RGNF from the Wagon <br />Wheel Gap, Bellows Creek, and Dry Gulch areas of Mineral County.
