Bureau of Reclamation
32 Exchange Place
Salt Lake CLty, Utah

Dear Mr. Cummings:

,

At our meeting with you on September 9. 1960, we
promised to give you an estimate of the cost of wheeling
Central Utah energy to a load center in Utah County near
Springville.

You have informed us that there will be three
Central Utah power plants with 61 megawatts of capacity, the
lower of which will be near the confluence of Diamond Fork
and Spanish Fork River.

Based on annual energy to be wheeled of 292 million
kilowatt-hours. your estimate of Central Utah generation. we
recommend that you use a wheeling charge of .15 mills per
kilowatt-hour. This estimate is based on building a 138 kv
line from the lower plant to connect with our system near
Springville.

Is! E. A. Hunter
