The Work Group has been able to accomplish FY <br />1991 scheduled tasks, in addition to initiating development of <br />other tasks. Funding as presently identified cannot accomplish <br />the schedule presented in Figure 1. with additional staff and <br />funding, the remaining schedule as presented in Figure 1 for FY <br />92 and 93 can be achieved. However, some initial slippage will <br />occur since funding and staff were not in place at the start of <br />FY 1992. <br /> <br />At most, Reclamation and the Service could each devote a total of <br />one staff week per month to this effort without specific funding <br />and additional staff. If funding is not secured, Reclamation and <br />the Service's involvement in the Joint Study would be at a <br />reduced level and the completion of the study would be delayed <br />indefinitely. The Work Group recommends that the participants in <br />the Joint Study work to secure the funding needed to complete the <br />program in FY 1993. <br /> <br />11 <br />
