The project is unanimously supported by <br /> <br />the entire Congressional delegation of the state of Colorado. Field <br /> <br />hearings were held on this project by the Irrigation and Reclamation <br /> <br />Subconunittee of the House Conunittee on Interior and Insular Affairs <br /> <br />in Montrose, Colorado, on April 19, 1963. It is anticipated that <br /> <br />further hearings will be held in Washington, D. C. in the very near <br /> <br />fu ture. <br /> <br />A feasibility report on this project has been completed by <br /> <br />the Department of the Interior and a copy of the report transmitted <br /> <br />to the Honorable John W. MCCormack, Speaker of the HOllas of., Represent- <br /> <br />atives. The report has been referred to the Committee on Interior <br /> <br />and Insular Affairs and is printed with .illustrations in HOuss.DOcu- <br /> <br />ment No. 487, 87th Congress, 2nd Session. <br /> <br />The estimated annua,l economi,c,benefits for the Bostwick <br /> <br />Park Project would total $318,300 over the lOO-yaarperiod'ofanaly- <br /> <br />sis at 2~ percent interest.
