Total Reservoir Seepage - Total Narrows Reservoir seepage losses were computed by a polynomial equation relating seepage and reservoir content. The polynomial equation was developed from the reI ationship given in Exhibit 8 of Appendix II - Hydrology of March 1966 Narrows Unit Report. The current month's seepage was assumed to be equ:i1 to this relationship and the previous month, end-of-month reservoir content. 18. Streamflow Below Damsite - Total streamflow below Narrows Reservoir including reservoir seepage. This item was computed and equal to line 19 - line 10 + line 22 + line 32 + line 20. 19. Narrows Required Bypass - Narrows Reservoir bypass water needed to satisfy previous water rights downstream on the South Platte River. This amount was computed and equal to line 9 ,; line 13 + line 10 + linc 11 - line 14. 20. Res Seep in Excess - Reqmt - Narrows Reservoir Seepage return to the South Platte River in excess of required bypass. This is computed if line 17 13 greater than line, 19 and equal to line 17 - line 19. 21. Narrows Bypass Releases - Narrows Reservoir water releases to satisfy required bypass not met by seepage return to the river. Computed if line 20 is equal to 0.0 and equal to line 19 - line 17. If Narrows Reservoir content drops below the minimum reservoir bypass storage content, the bypass rele~ses can only be that part which is above this minimum content, and a bypass llhortage will occur. ' 22. Narrows Reservoir Spills - Computed as the excess end-of-month storage content above the maximum reservoir storage content of the joint-use and conservation levels. Spills occur if previous month line 25 + line 12 - line 17 - line 16 - line 21 - line 32 is greater than the ma:timum reservoir storage content of 468,000 acre-feet. . 23.
