The project could be developed

for irrigation, recreation and fish and wildlife.

Flood control would also be provided. The project would
generally be compatible with the environment of the area.
Storage regulatins would be provided in the Pothook

Reservoir on Slater Creek in Colorado. Releases from

the reservoir and usable natural and return flows could

be diverted by a new Pothook Canal heading at the Pothook

Reservoir.

Dead and inactive storage could be available in

the Pothook Reservoir for fishing and recreation, and

minimum flow for fish could be maintained in Slater Creek.

Range lands below the project could be improved as wild-
life habitat.

The Pothook Reservoir could store up to 60,000 AF
of water with approximately 26,000 AF active and 34,000 AF
inactive. The surface area would be approximately 1,050
acres. The dam height would be 150 feet, a crest length
of 1400 feet and would assume the structure to be of

rolled earthfill.
