- 3 -

1. ~ Mountain~. Near mouth of Troublesome Creek; capacity

84,000 acre feet; would require railroad and highway relocation.

(Source of information: Appendix D of Blue-South Platte Interim

Report).

2. Kremmling Site. Storage capacity, ili,ooo acre feet; height
of dam 16 feet. Railroad would not require extensive relocation.

3. Azure ~~. In canyon of Colorado River 11-1/2 miles be-

low lCremmling, 2 miles above Sheephorn Creek. Storage capacity,

26,000 acre feet with dam extending 100 feet above stream bed. (Data

from U.S.G.S. tvater Supply Paper 396 and D. & R. G. Profile).

4. Dotsero~. Dam 25 feet high about 2 miles below Dotsero.
Would provide a storage of 10,000 acre feet. Greater storage would
require relocation of railway. With dam 250 feet high a storage of 58,000

acre feet could be produced. Feeder canal would be a major item
of cost. (Data from Bureau of Reclamation and U.S.G.S. Maps).

6.. Homestake Creek Site. Darn 1/4 mile above mouth of creek
and 200 feet high would provide about 69,000 acre feet of storage

space. Relocation of 3 miles of highway and 2 miles of transmission

line required. It is possible that 11,000 acre feet per annum could
be diverted from Eagle River to this watershed and that Homestake
