Deer, too, <br /> <br />will not be easily driven away as long <br /> <br />as adequate food and shelter remains <br /> <br />available. <br /> <br />Preservation of the Big Bottom area as <br /> <br />undisturbed wildlife habitat could be <br /> <br />crucial to maintaining ecological <br />diversity in the area. If it is allowed <br /> <br />to deteriorate, the effect on populations <br /> <br />of deer, dove, sage grouse, sandhill <br /> <br />crane. bald eagle and many other species <br /> <br />of less immediate interest to sportsmen <br /> <br />or naturalists could be significant. <br /> <br />-175- <br />
