The report of the Assessment Committee was: "We, the Committee on Assessments, do recommend the levy Immediately of the following assessments: An assessment of $2.,50 per share. payable as follows: '1.26 Due April I, 1963 and delinquent May I, 1963; '1.25 Due Sep- tember I, 1963, and delinquent October I, .1963. This committee recommends the passing of the followIng resolution: "BE!!T RESOLVED, that the Stockholders authorize the Board of IJ.INlctors to borrow from the Wichita Bank for Cooperatives, or any other bank, funds necessary to take care of any major damage or emergencies On ditches or structures of the Amity System caused by floods, or for any other reason unforeseen to us, ~'ou, the commIttee and the stockholderB. II The motion to adopt these two reports was made by James Romer. The motion was seconded and carrIed when voted upon. The Resolutions Committee reported as follows: RESOLUTION "BE IT RESOLVED. that the Stockholders of the Amity Mu- tual IrrIgation Company do extend our most sincere sympathIes to the families and relatives of _ Bernard R. Dorenkamp, David D. Ham, Bulrl McGee. E. B. BurBack, Lee Marston, Katherine CHne, T. G. De- Witt, who have become deceased the past year. We have enjoyed working wIth these, our members, as co- workers for our system and in our community and their contributions to their communIties wlll be forever remembered.
