Satur. <br />Jay, August 12. 1961 that he had just received word from Mr. Dave <br />Hic,Scr th,1t there was ,Ioout 5,500 CFS of watn passing La Junta. <br /> <br />Upon receiving this information. (L telephonic meeting WtlS held <br />S,1turdar evening, August 12. 1961 for the purpose of finding water <br />;lvaibhle fnr storagc. <br /> <br />It \',;,15 deciuecl to wait untll SundrtY morning, August 13th, and if <br />upon further invcstig,ltion, the Secretary found enough water in sight <br />to warrant closing the gates and ucclaring \l.'ater available for storage, <br />he \\'ould do so.
