Gaging Stations <br /> <br />Stream-flow recorels were cullected at all of th~ Compact gaging <br />stations. During the year emphasis was placed on performing additional <br />fielel work and providing provisional dIscharge data on a current basis <br />to AdministratIon and State officials. The stations on the Arkansas <br />River at Las Animas and the Purgatoire River at Las Animas were dis- <br />cussed at the July 25, 1961, mceti~g. It was determined that the needed <br />improvements woulcl have to be delayed because they depcnclcd somewhat <br />on bridge construction plans of the Colorado State Highway Department <br />llnd dike constru.::tion and ch:mllcl rectification plans of the Corps of <br />Engineers. <br /> <br />The budgd fLI!' tin.: fiscal year July 1, 1961, to June 30, 1962, ap- <br />proved by the Admil1lstration cont:lined $1,650 for partial support of <br />the Compact gaging stations.
