The work order will <br />c: define EIS preparation work to be done by the Division of <br />EIS Services. <br /> <br />6.2 ANTICIPATED AUGUST EVENTS <br /> <br />Final BlM corridor study report is scheduled for transmittal <br />to Reclamation on August 31. <br /> <br />Work Order No. 2 to the Reclamation/BlM Interagency Agreement <br />is to be finalized and signed. <br /> <br />Field trip to assess available corridors for Stage I of <br />the project (Utah) will be conducted on August 8-10. <br /> <br />6.3 ANTICIPATED SEPTEMBER EVENTS <br /> <br />Sign Forest Service Memorandum of Understanding. <br /> <br />Complete and sign working agreement to Reclamation/Aquatrain, <br />Inc. Cooperative Agreement which defines work and funding <br />for project EIS. <br /> <br />Form task force composed of representatives of Western Area <br />Power Administration and interested utilities to conduct <br />future energy demand study. <br /> <br />Begin work on EIS with development of plan for scoping meetings. <br /> <br />Fill Environmental Officer vacancy. <br /> <br />7.0 SUBTEAM: PLANNING COORDINATION/REPORTS/PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT <br />(Stefanec) <br /> <br />7.1 JULY EVENTS <br /> <br />Barrett, Clinton, and McKeever agreed on short-term flag <br />dates for planning reports and significant actions (shown <br />on PROPlAN chart). <br /> <br />Stefanec met with UC Planning Office staff to discuss content <br />and philosophy for first AQUATRAIN Planning Report (draft <br />Plan Formulation Working Document (PFWD)). <br /> <br />Ulinton, McKeever, and Stefanec !riefed Me~a County COllDTIissioners. <br />Planning Commission, and County Planning staff as followup <br />to Colorado advance work. The groups voiced general support <br />and encouragement. <br /> <br />Revised briefing paper is in final revision/editing stage. <br />Dependent upon production schedules, distribution is expected <br />in mid to late August. <br /> <br />5 <br />
