We have been requested to develop a similar ,agreement in the <br />Colorado River Basin. This we plan to do. Such an afl'eement would <br />provide for us a strOOf voice in the planninr and operation of elec';' <br />tric facilities to illeet our' fI'owin[ power requirements. The necessity <br />cf having available 2cditional feneratinr and transmissicn capacity <br />may be nearer than we think. Stcrare p'roject Power will certainly <br />all be absorbed by not later than 1969. To n:eet the needs, the <br />Northern Division is at this date already sorely behind in most' <br />areas with plans needed now; <br /> <br />Work on a pooling afreement of the nature required should be aocom- <br />plished in the next year or so.
