Faotors to <br /> <br />be taken into acoount. in the determination of the surplus supply of <br /> <br />the 1943 season inolude. (1). as charges against Colorado. (a) the <br /> <br />additional diversions. if any. made by ditches upstream from Caddoa by <br /> <br />reason of Caddoa Reservoir operations. and (b) the exoess diversions. if <br /> <br />any. made by ditches downstream from' Caddoa. over and above the 117.900 <br /> <br />aore-feet allocated to Colorado; and (2). as charges against Kansas. the <br /> <br />excess deliveries. if any. at the State1ine over and above the 52.000 <br /> <br />acre-feet allocated to Kansas for diversion by ditohes in that State. <br /> <br />The 'sum of items (1) and (2) represents the portion of the 1943 surplus <br /> <br />supply used during the season. The unused portion consists of (3) the <br /> <br />quantity of water in storage in Caddoa Reservoir at the close of the 1943 <br /> <br />irrigation season. which. added to the surn of items (1) and (2). gives <br /> <br />the total 1943 surplus supply. Under the 1933 Stipulation thh total <br /> <br />surplus shall be divided equally between the two States. Hence the interest <br /> <br />(5) <br />
