Aspinal Unit, Colorado River Storage Project, so as <br /> <br />to maintain an instream flow of no less than 300 cfs imme- <br /> <br />diately below diversions to the Gunnison Tunnel Uncompaghre <br /> <br />valley Project, except during times of extreme drought, is <br /> <br />consistent with the operation of said reservoirs in accor- <br /> <br />dance with the 1956 Colorado River Storage Project Act. <br /> <br />(7) The jurisdiction of the State of Colorado <br /> <br />over the waters of the designated segment of the lower <br /> <br />Gunnison River may enhance and will not impair the scenic, <br /> <br />recreational, fish and wildlife values of said segment. <br /> <br />SEC. 502 WATER RIGHTS; FACILITIES; RELATED ISSUES. <br /> <br />(a) FEDERAL LICENSING AND ASSISTANCE OF WATER <br /> <br />RESOURCES PROJECTS. <br /> <br />(1) Notwithstanding Section 7(a) of the 1968 <br /> <br />Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, developments below or above the <br /> <br />designated segment of the lower Gunnison.River or on any tri- <br /> <br />butary thereto which do not invade the designated area may be <br /> <br />federally licensed or assisted if: <br /> <br />-2- <br />
