The natural inflow into Heron Reservoir during the month of December was computed to be 156 acre-feet (AF) as shown in Table 3. There were 365 AF net San Juan- Chama (SJ-C) losses, as shown in Table 2. There were no diversions through Azotea Tunnel this month. There was a total of 354 AF of Natural (RG) released from Heron. There was 4400 AF of SJ-C released in December, of which 1430 AF was the City of Santa Fe's delivery to Abiquiu, and 2970 AF of the City of Albuquerque's delivery to Abiquiu. There was 198 AF of SJ-C water released from El Vado of which the total was released from Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District to the City of Santa Fe in Abiquiu as payback for irrigation use. There was 4056 AF of SJ-C water released from Abiquiu, of which 1265 AF was for Santa Fe to offset effects below Otowi(letter dated 10/05/99), 20 AF for Los Lunas's effects below Otowi (letter dated 11/29/99), 355 AF for Bernalillo's use below Otowi (letter dated 10/5/99), 151 released for Nambe Falls Dam effects at Otowi, 2265 AF was released to Coc~iti's rec pool. There was 0.01 inches of precipitation at December (running) average of 1.26 inches. Reservoir are summarized in Tables 1-3.
