<br />San Juan-Chama <br />Water Accounting <br />Albuquerque Area Office <br />October 1999 <br /> <br />The natural inflow into Heron Reservoir during the month of October was computed <br />to be 158 acre-feet (AF) as shown in Table 3. There were 1464 AF net San Juan- <br />Chama (SJ-C) losses, as shown in Table 2. There were no diversions through <br />Azotea Tunnel this month. <br /> <br />There was a total of 158 AF of Natural (RG) released from Heron. There was 682 <br />AF of SJ-C released in October, of which 341 AF was the Middle Rio Grande <br />Conservancy District's (MRGCD)delivery to El Vado, and 341 AF of the City of <br />Albuquerque's delivery to Abiquiu. <br /> <br />There was 5552 AF of SJ-C water released from El Vado of which the total was <br />released from Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District to the City of Santa Fe in <br />Abiquiu as payback for irrigation use. <br /> <br />There was 4860 AF of SJ-C water released from Abiquiu by MRGCD for middle valley <br />use. <br /> <br />There was 0.14 inches of precipitation at <br />October (running) average of 1.42 inches. <br />Reservoir are summarized in Tables 1-3. <br /> <br />Heron Reservoir, which is 10% of the <br />The monthly computations for Heron <br /> <br />Total inflow into Nambe Falls Reservoir was computed to be 794 AF. There were 9 <br />AF of losses on the reservoir. Table 4 summarizes San Juan-Chama water at Otowi. <br /> <br />Estimated sediment deposition in the San Juan-Chama pools at Abiquiu and Jemez <br />Canyon Reservoirs, and Cochiti Lake are presented in Tables 5A-5C.
