<br />r. 11' \:\',1 <br />'--' _",,"It: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />-5- <br /> <br />(1) ASPINALL UNIT. -- Nothing in this Act or the Act of <br /> <br /> <br />2 October 2, 1968 (82 Stat. 906; 16 U.S.C. 1271 et seq.) as amended, <br /> <br /> <br />3 shall affect or interfere with the authority of the Secretary as <br /> <br />4 granted by the Colorado River Storage Project Act of April 11, 1956 <br />5 (70 Stat. 105) to operate, maintain. rehabilitate, or improve the <br /> <br />6 Wayne N. Aspinall Unit in accordance with the authorized purposes of <br /> <br />7 the Colorado River Storage Project Act for river regulation, <br /> <br />8 irrigation, flood control and generation of hydroelectric power. <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />(2) UNCOMPAHGRE PROJECT. -- <br /> <br />Nothing in this Act or the <br /> <br />10 Act of October 2, 1968, shall affect or interfere with the <br /> <br />11 authority of the Secretary to operate, maintain, rehabilitate, or <br /> <br /> <br />12 improve the Uncompahgre Project, in accordance with the purposes of <br /> <br />13 the Uncompahgre Project (originally called the Gunnison Project) <br /> <br />14 authorized on March 14, 1903, under provision of the Reclamation <br /> <br />15 Act and all amendments thereto, or to construct, operate, and maintain <br /> <br />16 the Fruitland Mesa Project as authorized by Public Law 88-568, dated <br />17 September 2, 1964, or to construct and operate Stage I of the Lower <br />18 Gunnison Basin Unit of the Colorado River Basin Salinity Control <br /> <br />19 Program as authorized by Public Law 98-569, dated October 30, 1984. <br />20 (e) MANAGEMENT PLAN. --Within 3 years from the effective <br />21 date of this Act, the Secretary shall develop and approve a <br /> <br />22 general management plan that integrates the purposes and uses of <br /> <br />23 all 4 units of the Park Complex and coordinates development of <br /> <br /> <br />24 the 4 units. The Secretary shall develop a formal, coordinated <br /> <br /> <br />25 and cooperative management agreement among the agencies involved, <br /> <br />26 indicating: <br />
