The authorized purposes include irrigation, flood control, fish and wildlife, recreation, !municipal and industrial water, and other purposes. The principal features of the Narrows Unit will include the Narrows Dam and Reservoir; fish hatchery and rearing ponds; acqui sition and development of the existing Jackson Lake Reservoir, including some rehabilitation of JacksOn Lake Dam, for public outdoor recreation and fish and wildlife enhancement; and other necessary works and facilities to effect its purpose. The fi nal envi ronmental statement was fil ed with the Council on Envi ronmental Qual i ty in May 1976, and an addendum to the Defi ni te Pl an Report was prepared in June 1976. ; Repayment contracts were signed with the Lower South Platte Water Conservancy District on July 27, 1976; and the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District on July 30, 1976. A contract was executed on August 18, 1976, with the State of Colorado for repayment of reimbursab 1 e recrea ti on en:hancement costs under provi si on of Public Law 89-72. A contract will !have to be negotiated with the State of Colorado for repayment of r'eimbursable fish and wildlife enhancement costs under provision of Public Law 89-72 prior to construc- tion of fish and wildlife facil ities. In February 1978, a special report outl i ni ng the resul ts of the i rvesti gation on specifi c, issues was submitted to the Department of the Interior.
