This table provides
a summation of the data used in compilation of records in accordance
with Article V of the Decree of the Supreme Court of the United States
in Arizona v. California dated March 9, 1964.

2. Delivery of Water to Mexico

Delivery of water to Mexico under provisions of the Mexican Water
Treaty and Minutes thereto during calendar year 1981 equaled or
exceeded the amount scheduled each month. A comparison of scheduled
and actual deliveries is shown on Table No.1.

Total delivery of water to Mexico from all sources during 1981 was
2,190,898 acre-feet. Deducting 148,426 acre-feet not chargeable to
the treaty under provisions of Minute No. 242 leaves a delivery of
2,042,472 acre-feet. Comparing this delivery to the treaty delivery
requirement of 1,700,000 acre-feet indicates an overdelivery of
342,478 acre-feet.

The salinity control program on delivery of water to Mexico as
outlined in Minute No. 242 was placed in effect June 25, 1974. The
provisions of the treaty were met in 1981.

Mexico was delivered 148,426 acre-feet of water through the
Well ton-Mohawk Main Outlet Drain Extension under provisions of Minute
No. 242. This water was bypassed below Morelos Dam and was not
chargeable to the treaty allotment. None of this water was delivered
through MODE No.3. Also, about 2,500 acre-feet were returned at
Station 0+00 to the Gila River and about 5,029 acre-feet were returned
to the Colorado River upstream of Prison Hill to accommodate
construction at the Yuma Desalting Plant.

3. Water Transferred from the Yuma Project to Pilot Knob
Powerplant for Generation of Electric Power and Energy

Water was transferred from the Yuma Project to Pilot Knob Powerplant
under the provisions of Contract No. 14-06-300-1381 (Contract for
Temporary Use of Water for Generation of Electric Power and Energy).
During calendar year 1981, a total of 606,290 acre-feet was
transferred from the Yuma Project to the Pilot Knob Powerplant. This
contract has proved 'beneficial to both parties and allowed the plant
to operate a larger portion of the time. Transferred water was
52 percent of the total flow through the Pilot Knob Powerp1ant.

4. Senator Wash Unit - Imperial Dam Division

Senator Wash Pumping-Generating Plant and Reservoir is an offstream
pumped-storage development 2 miles upstream from Imperial Darn. A
feature of the Colorado River Front Work and Levee System Project, it
is designed to salvage water and insure deliveries to water users in
the United States and Mexico by providing an improved degree of
regulation at the delivery point.

5
