Little and completion of Project economics by <br />Ernst and Whinney. <br /> <br />5.2 ANTICIPATED NOVEMBER EVENTS <br /> <br />Efforts will continue to identify potential sources of CO" with <br />particular emphasis on joint ventureship with companies having <br />CO2 reserves in the Riley Ridge, Wyoming field. <br /> <br />Continue marketing studies for CO2 uses in enhanced oil recovery <br />in Texas and California. <br /> <br />Incorporate review changes in Preliminary Report, complete, and <br />distribute. <br /> <br />6.0 SUBTEAM: ENVIRONMENT/CORRIOOR/FEDERAL PERMITTING/ <br />ENERGY MANAGEMENT (Fite) <br />6.1 OCTOBER EVENTS <br /> <br />Revised section of the Corridor Study covering the Castle <br />Dale to Intermountain Powerplant portiDn of the Project <br />sent to Forest Service (Region IV) for review. <br /> <br />Forest Service/Reclamation Memorandum of Understanding submitted <br />to Forest Service and Reclamation Regional Office for formal <br />review. <br /> <br />Preliminary planning continued on Project EIS. Duties and <br />funding levels for Fish and Wildlife Service support during <br />FY1984 agreed upon. Starting date for groundwork has slipped <br />to February 1984 due to delay in funds and development of <br />project description. <br /> <br />Requested evaluation by Western Area Power Administration <br />of the potential for sale of excess power that could be <br />generated by AQUATRAIN if fluidized-bed combustion chambers <br />are used to remove excess oxygen from powerplant stack gases <br />in preparation for CO2 extraction. <br /> <br />6.2 ANTICIPATED NOVEMBER EVENTS <br /> <br />Request formal opinion from Upper Colorado Region on required <br />environmental clearances for slurry test loop. <br /> <br />3 <br />
