<br />On April 1, storage in this reservoir was 3,790 acre feet. This
<br />was the lowest amount of Winter storage on record for the reservoir. '

<br />lowing weeks a record storage of some 430,000 acre feet was made.
<br />Nearly 60,000 acre feet of this amount was deposited in the flood
<br />control portion of the reservoir and the Corps of Engineers ordered
<br />that the flood control area be evacuated at flow rates varying (rom
<br />1500 efs to 4000 ds. These releases were much in excess of irrigation
<br />demands but are In accord with the operating procedures of the project.
