A list of these stations is giv~n
in table 1. " The solutes to be considered are calcium, magnesium, sodium, and
potassium cations; and bicarbonate, chloride, and sulfate ~nions.

Table 1. - Principal gaging stations in the Upper
Colorado River Basin

USGS
, ;No.

Locat1 on

..

*9'0725
90955
91525
9)1800
~805
92H2
92170
~345
92510
$020
93065
93150
~3285
!J3555
93795
93800

Colorado River at Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Colorado River near Cameo, Colorado
Gunnison River near Grand Junction, Colorado
Dolores River near Cisco, Utah
Colorado River near Cisco, Utah
Green River below Fontenelle Dam, Wyoming
Green River near Green River, Wyoming
Green River near Greendale, Utah
Yampa River near Maybell, Colorado
Duchesne River near Randlett, Utah
White River near Watson, Utah
Green River at Green River, Utah
San Rafael River near Green River, Utah
San Juan River near Archuleta, New Mexico
San Juan River near Bluff, Utah
Colorado River at Lees Ferry, Arizona

* ~tation No. 90725 is a CRSS designation. Daily streamflow data are generally available
for this entire period. Daily specific conductance recording began in 1965.
Chemical ana~yses are reported for flow weighted composites prior to 1970 and
for instantaneous grab samples from 1970 to the present.
