<br />",' <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />, '":... <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />000378 <br /> <br />2/24/92 <br /> <br />AGREEMENT NO. 2-AB-30-00l10 <br />AMONG THE <br />BUREAU OF RECLAMATION AND THE <br />COLORADO RIVER COMMISSION OF NEVADA, THE <br />UTAH DIVISION OF WATER RESOURCES, THE <br />CENTRAL ARIZONA WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT, THE <br />UPPER COLORADO RIVER COMMISSION, AND THE <br />SIX AGENCY COMMITTEE, <br />TO PROVIDE FUNDS TO <br />DEVELOP A PROGRAM PLAN FOR <br />A PRECIPITATION MANAGEMENT DEMONSTRATION ACTIVITY <br /> <br />1. THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of <br />,l9 ,by and among: the Colorado River Commission of <br />Nevada, the Utah Division of Water Resources, the central Arizona <br />Water Conservation District, the six Agency Committee, and the <br />Upper Colorado River Commission; all of which at times are <br />referred to as "Cooperating Partners"; and the Bureau of <br />Reclamation, hereinafter referred to as "Reclamation", all of <br />which are at times collectively referred to as "parties", <br />pursuant to the Act of congress approved June 17, 1902, (32 stat. <br />388), and acts amendatory thereof or supplementary thereto, all <br />of which acts are commonly known and referred to as Reclamation <br />Law, and particularly pursuant to the ColoradO River Basin <br />Project Act of 1968 (43 U.S.C., Stat. l50l) , and the act of <br />March 4, 1921 referred to as the Contributed Funds Act. <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />EXPLANATORY RECITALS <br /> <br />2. a. WHEREAS, the Parties seek the development of a program <br />plan to describe the technical basis, and the activities and <br />costs required to conduct a precipitation management <br />demonstration activity (Program Plan); and <br /> <br />b. WHEREAS, $90,000 of federal funds are available to match <br />with $91,000 in non-federal funds to develop said Program Plan; <br />and <br /> <br />c. WHEREAS, a "Steering Committee" as described in the <br />attached Memorandum of Understanding (Attachment A) shall be <br />formed to provide direction in the development of said Program <br />Plan. <br /> <br />1 <br />
